CLASSROOM SCHEDULE (1 wk)
Day classes 8am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. In the event a scheduled class falls on an observed holiday, then the class will be made up on the next available day.
RANGE/ROAD SCHEDULE (3 weeks)
Day classes 8am to 12pm and 12:30pm to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Hours for night driving segments (week 4) TBA depending on the time of year.
CLASS SIZE
Total class size is 12 per cycle. Students are put in a maximum of three (3) students to one (1) tractor for the Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) portion of the program.
Course Summary:
Classroom: 1 week = 5 days x 8hrs = 40hrs
Range/Road: 3 weeks = 15 days x 8hrs = 120hrs
TOTAL COURSE LENGTH = 160 HOURS
Students must have a minimum of 160 clock hours to qualify for a Certificate of Proficiency.

CALENDAR
MTI operates all 12 months of the year and are 4 weeks in duration. Class cycles for 2018 are as follows:
Cycle 1: January 15– February 9th
Cycle 2: February 12th – March 9th
Cycle 3: March 12th – April 6th
Cycle 4: April 9th - May 4th
Cycle 5: May 7th – June 1st
Cycle 6: June 4th - June 29th
Cycle 9: Aug 6th – Aug 31st
Cycle 10: Sep 4th – Sep 28th
Cycle 11: Oct 1st – Oct 26th
Cycle 12: Oct 29th – Nov 23rd
Cycle 13: Nov 26th – Dec 21st
Please contact for the most up to date cycles, as the weather can have an effect on winter course thus changing the entire schedule.
