Zenaido Martinez Jr. & Dora Elia Martinez are the proud owners of Martinez Trucking and Martinez Technical Institute (MTI). An ownership group that is heavily involved in their community, we pride ourselves in community involvement and contributions. Established by hard work, perseverance, and dedication, the owners have found a way to institute their children to run and grow their business.

Located in the heart of Tri-Cities, Pasco, WA, MTI features a newly built facility specially designed with our school goals in mind. We have two classrooms allowing us to accommodate our student’s class and study time, as well as our school’s developing curriculum offerings.

Our Primary goal is to produce industry professionals with a spirit of excellence by providing teaching excellence and preparing students for the real world, OTR, and industry experience. Our job placement assistance program partners with WorkSource and other networks to arm students for success.

Francisco Salinas

Over 30 years of Commercial Driving Instruction, Francisco brings insight about life OTR and special training in extreme conditions including off-road, mountain and ice road. With a wide spectrum of experience as class A driver, he has trained drivers throughout his career and embraces MTI’s goals and philosophies.

Victor OCHOA

Victor has over 20 years as both a driver and an owner of a local agricultural trucking firm. He has served our area and is extremely familiar with the needs of trucking and farming. He also brings a bi-lingual aspect of Spanish to our school, enabling us to serve even more individuals interested in getting into the industry.

Deeply devoted to seeing the success of those he teaches, David brings nearly 30 years of experience as a driver, as well as his management knowledge, and is also bi-lingual in Spanish. This knowledge base enables us to give an even deeper insight into our industry; understanding the view from the employer’s seat, as well as what it takes for someone to get started as an owner operator, allows us to arm our graduates with a greater sense of possibilities for their future.
